Magnets
Today in class we learned about Magnetic Force. We observed how magnets pull things to them that are metal. Magnets wont stick to hair, plastics or wood. Magnets have a positively charged core. They can be used in CD players, DVD players, TVS and Computers. You should NEVER put a magnet next to anything electronic. There are North and South Poles on a magnet. Opposites attract! North pole attracts to South pole. If you put North and North together, they push away. Period 7
A Note From the Editor
Hello!Welcome to our Class Blog. I have chosen to use blogging as a media to display the student's work because it helps summarize information the students have learned and helps familiarize them with a different way to communicate their thoughts. Typically these blogs will be a class collaboration, summarizing one topic from the week. Some blogs will be more Science oriented because students from my Science class are working with students from the English class. I have allowed some students to write about a topic of interest to encourage them to write. The students are excited to do this and so am I. Feel free to post any positive comments you have. If you respond to any blog post I encourage you to ask questions for students to further explore.

The Cowboys
My favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. They played against the Giants. The score was 30 to 20. The Cowboys won. Jon Kitna is the qb for the dallas cowboys and he's a little bit good but Tony Romo is better. He is hurt. He is the best qb because he talks to the sports casters and throws the ball to the receiver. I like the Dallas Cowboys. They are the best team because I like Tony Romo but he's hurt and Miles Austin and Marion Barber and Jason Witten. There are 60 players on the Dallas Cowboys team. The coach from the Dallas Cowboys is Jason Garrett. He is a good coach. The Dallas Cowboys need to win the games so they can go to the Superbowl and to the playoffs and pro bowl. I want them to beat the Washington Redskins.

Germs make us sick!
Germs are tiny living things! Germs can look like worms, dots, twisted spiral. You cannot see germs with your eyes, they are tiny. You must use a micro scope. There are bacteria and viruses. Germs can get into our body through our nose, open wounds, mouth, eyes. We can protect ourselves from germs by washing out hands often and if we get we go to the doctor. Period 7.
